The G36 was the first Glock to use a single-stack magazine, setting the template for the brand's Slimline concept. Chambered in .45 ACP with a 6+1 capacity, it pairs a subcompact-length slide and barrel with a slim grip that carries easily. The included DeSantis IWB and OWB holsters support immediate carry options out of the box.
It uses Glock's striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech Safe Action system. The black polymer frame features a pebble texture with finger grooves. This configuration is the clean, early-style frame without an accessory rail.
The slide has rear serrations and an external extractor. Sights are the factory fixed set with a white-dot front and a white-outline rear that is drift adjustable in a dovetail, offering a straightforward sight picture.
The 3.78" barrel is crowned. Proof and import markings read "MADE IN AUSTRIA • GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA," and the serial number is present on the barrel, slide, and frame.
Six single-stack magazines are included—five Glock factory and one with a Pearce Grip finger-extension baseplate (non-Glock)—providing a mix of flush and extended baseplates to tailor concealment and handling as needed.
