The pistol uses HK's striker-fired VP-series action and a 4.09-inch steel barrel with polygonal rifling. The bore is clean and bright, and the rifling presents with strong definition consistent with the model's design.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including paddle-style magazine releases and slide stop levers on both sides. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and charging supports to enhance manipulation.
