This Aero Precision M5 is a large-frame AR-pattern rifle chambered in .308 Win with a 20-inch threaded steel barrel and a free-float M-LOK handguard. It features a T-marked Picatinny top rail on the upper receiver; the handguard does not have a continuous 12 o'clock rail and instead provides M-LOK at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock with a short Picatinny rail segment near the muzzle, while the top surface lacks M-LOK and features lightening cuts; safety selector, and SR-25/DPMS-pattern magazine compatibility. The rifle is in very good overall condition with an excellent bore, and includes useful installed accessories.

The M5 uses a direct impingement gas system with a rotating bolt, right-side ejection, and includes a forward assist, shell deflector, and dust cover. It is built on aluminum-alloy receivers with a matte black anodized finish, matching the free-float aluminum handguard.
The 20-inch steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port brake/flash-hider. The handguard provides M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock with a short Picatinny rail segment near the muzzle; the top surface of the handguard lacks M-LOK and features lightening cuts; the upper receiver carries the T-marked 12 o'clock Picatinny rail for mounting optics and accessories.
Controls include a standard magazine release and a safety selector with pictogram markings. The rifle accepts SR-25/DPMS-pattern magazines and includes a carbine receiver extension.
Ergonomics are supported by a collapsible, adjustable polymer stock with a rubber buttpad, offering an approximate 14.5-inch length of pull (adjustable via stock positions). A tan ergonomic finger-groove pistol grip provides a secure hold.
