The BTVSS configuration pairs a heavy stainless, sightless barrel with a laminated hardwood thumbhole stock for a stable, ergonomic shooting platform. The stainless barrel and receiver share a matching finish for a cohesive, durable build.
Chambered in .22 WMR, the rifle feeds from a detachable steel box magazine and offers a 5+1 capacity. The right-hand bolt uses a round knob for straightforward manipulation.
Savage’s AccuTrigger is user-adjustable to suit preference, and the tang safety includes a red fire indicator for quick visual status. There are no factory irons; the receiver is drilled and tapped and fitted with two-piece Weaver-style bases.
The laminated stock features a thumbhole grip, beavertail and vented forend, a rubber buttpad, and sling swivel studs. It has a 14.0-inch length of pull, with overall length at approximately 40 inches and weight around 7.5 pounds.
