The CAR A4 configuration uses an A4 flat-top upper with a T-marked Picatinny rail (T4–T12 visible) for consistent accessory placement. The receiver includes a forward assist, brass deflector, and ejection-port cover, and the rifle accepts standard STANAG-pattern magazines.
The 16-inch barrel is marked "RRA 5.56 NATO 1/9" and runs a carbine-length gas system. It is threaded and fitted with an A2 birdcage flash hider secured by a crush washer. The gas block/front sight base is pinned to the barrel and retains the A2 front sight with a bayonet lug and a bottom sling swivel.
Furniture includes carbine-length two-piece ribbed polymer handguards with round vent holes and a round delta ring. The installed Mission First Tactical BMS minimalist 6-position stock keeps the carbine light and handy, and the finger-grooved textured black pistol grip carries the RRA medallion. Sighting is handled by the fixed A2 front and a folding polymer rear sight.
Chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:9 twist, this LAR-15 is a United States-made AR-15 platform carbine. The LAR-15 line is noted for its selection in the 2003 DEA carbine contract, underscoring its place in the modern AR landscape. This example ships with both a 30-round and a 10-round PMAG and a black web sling.
