The Model 29-2 is a classic S&W N-frame, square-butt revolver chambered in .44 Remington Magnum with a six-round, six-flute cylinder. This example dates to 1975–1976 and wears the high-polish blued finish on its carbon-steel frame, barrel, and cylinder. It retains factory rollmarks including the S&W "Trade Mark" and MADE IN U.S.A. legends, "SMITH & WESSON" on the left barrel, ".44 MAGNUM" on the right barrel, and "MOD. 29-2" on the yoke cut.

The 6.5" carbon-steel barrel is pinned and ribbed with a serrated top rib, and the chambers are recessed (counterbored). It uses a partial underlug/ejector shroud and a knurled ejector-rod tip. The bore condition is excellent, with sharp rifling noted.

Sight regulation is handled by a ramp front sight with a red/orange insert and an adjustable square-notch rear sight. The action is double-action/single-action, complemented by a wide, grooved, case-hardened trigger and an exposed, wide checkered spur, case-hardened hammer.

Ergonomics and control are anchored by checkered hardwood target stocks with S&W medallions. This full-size .44 Magnum comes with a fitted wooden presentation case and original maintenance tools, rounding out a complete 1970s package.
