This 1980 Remington Model 700 BDL in .30-06 pairs classic BDL deluxe trim with a clean, mirror-bright bore and an installed Japanese-made Kassnar 3-9x40 scope. It features a high-polish blued finish, jeweled bolt, factory iron sights, and the signature gloss-finished Monte Carlo walnut stock with skip-line checkering. The rifle retains its hinged floorplate, internal 3-round magazine, and Ilion, New York manufacture, with date and inspector markings on the barrel.

The 22-inch sporter-contour barrel is stamped 30-06 SPRG and wears a high-polish blued finish. This right-hand Model 700 BDL configuration includes a jeweled bolt body, a hinged floorplate, and an internal 3-round box magazine. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and the rifle was manufactured in Ilion, New York, USA.
The BDL deluxe walnut stock presents a gloss finish with a Monte Carlo comb and cheekpiece, skip-line checkering, and classic white-line spacers. Details include a black grip cap with white-line spacer, a black forend tip with white-line spacer, and a checkered buttplate with a white-line spacer. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches, and quick-detachable sling swivels are fitted.
Factory iron sights are retained, featuring a ramped front sight and a folding adjustable rear sight. A Kassnar 3-9x40 Wide riflescope is installed in conventional rings on elevated two-piece see-through bases. The scope is marked Waterproof and Made in Japan.
Controls and markings include a two-position safety and a single-stage adjustable trigger. Barrel date code 'LA' and inspector stamp '12' are present. The rifle is from the BDL series era of 1980, and it has an A-prefix serial (partial only), consistent with its period of production.
