This LMT Defense MARS-LS MRP-L Piston AR-15 pistol combines the MARS-LS ambidextrous lower with LMT's MRP-L "Shovelnose" monolithic upper and a short-stroke piston system. It features a 12 in. chrome-lined CMV barrel with a 1:7 twist, an adjustable two-position gas plug, and a segmented T-marked 1913 top rail with integrated M-LOK slots. The tan anodized aluminum receivers, quick-change barrel system retained by twin T-30 bolts, and LMT-marked bolt highlight a premium, USA-made build.

The MRP-L "Shovelnose" monolithic upper integrates the upper receiver and handguard into a single aluminum unit with a segmented, lightened T-marked 1913 top rail (island sections) and M-LOK slots. LMT's quick-change barrel system uses twin T-30 bolts to retain the barrel, enabling precise alignment and secure fit.
A 12 in. chrome-lined CMV steel barrel with a 1:7 twist and threaded muzzle (A2 flash hider installed) supports the 5.56 NATO chambering. The short-stroke piston system uses a two-position (N/S) adjustable gas plug, and the rifle includes a forward assist, ejection port cover, and an LMT-marked bolt.
