This Smith & Wesson Model 442-1 Pro Series is a lightweight J-frame revolver built for .38 Special +P with a double-action-only, fully enclosed hammer design. It features an aluminum-alloy frame with a carbon-steel cylinder, a 1.875 inch barrel, and fixed sights. Factory rollmarks include the S&W crest and Pro Series designation, and this example has no internal-lock keyhole on the frame. It comes with checkered wood round-butt grips installed and an additional set of rubberized grips.
