The slide is drilled and tapped for optics adapter plates (filler screws installed), and the pistol was recognized as American Rifleman’s 2021 Golden Bullseye Handgun of the Year.

Chambered in 5.7x28mm, this pistol delivers a 20+1 capacity in a slim, full-size package. Its recoil-operated, internally hammer-fired single-action system pairs with a trigger safety blade, while an ambidextrous manual thumb safety provides user-friendly control.
The slide wears a durable black-oxide finish with diagonal front and rear serrations for confident manipulation. Lightening cuts and a window ahead of the ejection port reduce slide mass. The slide is drilled and tapped for optics adapter plates, and filler screws are installed from the factory.
Ergonomics are modern and practical: a glass-filled nylon frame keeps weight down, a reversible magazine release supports left- or right-handed use, and a Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover accepts lights or other accessories. An inspection port offers quick confirmation of chamber status, and the pistol will fire with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect).
Sight alignment is fast and clear thanks to a green fiber-optic front sight and a black, serrated adjustable rear sight. The textured black polymer grip with Ruger’s phoenix medallion provides secure purchase without adding bulk.
