Per the matching factory case label (SP2022-40-B-CA listing “NITRON, BLK, DASA, CONTRAS”), this pistol originally shipped with an all-black Nitron finish; the current gray slide finish appears to be a later refinish or replacement and is not a factory two-tone variant.
Controls are straightforward and duty-focused: a DA/SA trigger with a smooth, curved face, a decocking lever, and no manual safety. The external hammer and rear-only cocking serrations provide familiar handling. Fixed contrast sights deliver a clear sight picture.
The dust cover incorporates an integral Picatinny-style accessory rail with multiple cross-slots for mounting compatible lights or lasers. The textured polymer grip frame supports SIG’s interchangeable backstrap system, allowing grip size changes when desired. A stainless serial number plate is inset under the dust cover.
