The upper is machined aluminum with a black anodized finish and large lightening ports that reveal the gold-colored barrel sleeve. Under the sleeve is a tensioned stainless-steel barrel measuring 4.4 inches, cut with a 1:16 right-hand twist and six grooves for .22 LR.
The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 TPI and fitted with a knurled thread protector. Sighting equipment includes a fixed front blade and a fully adjustable rear target sight. A factory scope-mount rail spans approximately 4.3 inches along the top for mounting optic systems as desired.
The glass-filled nylon 22/45 grip frame uses a 1911-style grip angle for familiar ergonomics. Controls include a left-side push-button magazine release, a left-side bolt stop, and a manual thumb safety. The pistol uses a fixed-receiver, reciprocating-bolt, blowback-operated action.
Ruger’s Mark IV one-button takedown simplifies fieldstripping and routine cleaning. Capacity is 10+1 with the included pair of steel magazines. Rollmarks include “Ruger Mark IV” and “LITE,” with Prescott, AZ USA markings.
