The Px4 Storm’s short-recoil rotating-barrel lock (approximately 30 degrees of rotation) pairs with a DA/SA, hammer-fired system and an external spur hammer. This Type F configuration provides traditional double-action first-shot capability followed by single-action operation.
The 4 inch steel barrel is chrome-lined, and the slide wears a Bruniton black finish with front and rear serrations for confident manipulation. Sighting is via fixed three-dot sights, with a dovetailed rear unit and a 5.75 inch sight radius.
The fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame is finished in black and includes interchangeable backstraps for grip fit. An accessory rail on the dust cover supports compatible mounted equipment. Capacity is 17+1 with the included 17-round magazine.
Safety features include an ambidextrous slide-mounted manual safety, decocker, and a firing pin block. The frame is marked "FIRES WITHOUT MAGAZINE," indicating no magazine disconnect. Serial numbers are present on the slide, barrel hood, and the frame’s underside plate. Markings include "GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY" and "BERETTA U.S.A.
