    What’s Included
    • Cimarron factory cardboard box with end label for 1851 Richards–Mason Navy Conversion, 7.5 inch .38 Special nickel

Built by A. Uberti in Italy and imported by Cimarron Firearms, this revolver is a faithful centerfire reproduction of the 1851 Navy Richards–Mason conversion. It uses the open-top frame pattern with a conversion ring, preserving the profile and handling of the original percussion-era design while accommodating .38 Special centerfire cartridges.

The 7.5 inch octagonal barrel is wedge-retained and topped with a brass pin front sight, paired with a hammer-notch rear, mirroring period-correct sighting. The barrel is marked "38 COLT & S&W SPEC," and the right-side loading gate works with a spring-loaded ejector rod assembly for straightforward loading and unloading.

Construction is bright nickel-plated steel throughout the frame, receiver, and cylinder, complemented by a one-piece walnut Navy-profile grip with a gloss finish. The cylinder features the Colt-style naval battle roll engraving, capturing a signature visual detail of the 1851 pattern.

Proofs and markings include Italian proof marks, Gardone/Brescia proofs, a two-letter boxed date code, the A. Uberti Italy manufacturer mark, and the Cimarron Firearms import mark. This is a Cimarron import with single-action-only operation and a six-round capacity, delivering the classic open-top experience in a clean, well-finished package.
