Built in the United States, it combines M&P 2.0-style ergonomics with ambidextrous controls and a multi-slot Picatinny rail for accessories.

The M&P 22X uses a hammer-fired, blowback system with an internal hammer and a fixed 4.1 in barrel for consistent rimfire performance. The polymer frame features M&P 2.0-style texturing for a secure purchase, with an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a trigger safety.
The aluminum slide wears a matte protective finish and is cut for micro red-dot optics, with a cover plate installed when not in use. An adapter plate for the Vortex Defender footprint is included, giving you a ready path to add a compatible micro red dot.
Sight acquisition is quick with a green fiber-optic front and a black rear notch. The included HiViz LitePipes rods allow you to tailor the front sight’s fiber color to your preference.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the slide stop/slide release, and the dustcover integrates a multi-slot Picatinny rail for lights or other accessories. A frame marking indicates the pistol is capable of firing with the magazine removed. Three 20-round magazines are included, and the pistol is made in the United States.
