This New Agent follows the Model O/1911 pattern in a compact format with a lightweight Officer-length aluminum-alloy frame. It is chambered in .45 ACP with a 7+1 capacity and employs the Series 80 firing-pin safety along with a traditional grip safety and manual thumb safety.
The 3-inch barrel is a bushingless coned bull design paired with a full-length dual captive recoil spring system. This setup is purpose-built for reliable operation in a short-slide 1911 configuration.
Sights are an integral trench/gutter machined into the slide, giving a low-profile, snag-resistant sighting arrangement. The slide carries rear-only serrations and a matte blued finish.
Controls and appointments include a skeletonized three-hole trigger, a Commander/rowel-style hammer, and double-diamond checkered wood grips. The frame is black anodized aluminum alloy to keep weight down while maintaining 1911 ergonomics.
