The 24" sporter-contour barrel is marked "H. LAWSON" and "6.5 REM. MAG." and wears a bright polished finish. It has a recessed crown and no open sights, emphasizing a clean, purpose-built profile for use with optics. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases; no bases or rings are installed.
The custom walnut thumbhole stock reflects classic Lawson styling. It includes a rollover Monte Carlo cheekpiece, a comfortable palm swell, contrasting grip cap and fore-end tip, and an orange diamond inlay. A ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer and QD sling-swivel studs round out the stock features. Length of pull measures 14.0".
Built on a Remington Model 600 action, this rifle retains the model's distinctive dog-leg bolt with a cross-hatched knob. It uses a single trigger and a two-position safety. Capacity is 4 rounds of 6.5 Remington Magnum.
