This Tanker model retains the classic 1911A1 format in a commander-length 4.25-inch package. It is chambered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 capacity and uses the proven 1911 short-recoil, tilting-barrel operating system. The single-action-only trigger and Series-70-pattern internals provide a straightforward, traditional 1911 firing setup.
Construction is robust, with a forged steel frame and slide paired to a hammer-forged barrel. The matte black Cerakote finish on both frame and slide provides a uniform, low-glare presentation consistent with its GI-inspired build.
Sight and control layout stay true to the pattern: fixed GI sights with a staked front blade and a fixed rear sight, rear-only vertical cocking serrations, a spur hammer, and an arched mainspring housing. Safety features include a left-side thumb safety, grip safety, disconnector, and half-cock notch. The pistol uses a standard barrel bushing with a short recoil spring guide and plug.
Markings include the TISAS Knoxville, TN importer stamp and "ZIG M45 TISAS Made in TURKEY" origin markings. Full-checkered black grip panels complete the traditional appearance while providing secure purchase.
