The M&P9 M2.0 Full-Size pairs a 4.25 inch stainless-steel barrel with a stainless-steel slide, both treated with S&W’s black Armornite nitride finish for surface hardness and corrosion resistance. The slide carries front and rear serrations and fixed 3-dot sights, with a white-dot front and a drift-adjustable white-dot rear. The slide markings read M&P 9 and M2.0, and the slide has no optics cut.
The black polymer frame uses an extended embedded stainless-steel chassis to enhance rigidity. Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible magazine release. There is no manual thumb safety, and the pistol is capable of firing with the magazine removed. A sear-deactivation lever allows disassembly without pulling the trigger.
Ergonomics are configurable with interchangeable palmswell backstraps in S, M, ML, and L sizes, allowing the shooter to tailor the grip. The trigger offers a tactile reset. A 1913-style accessory rail with four cross-slots supports lights or lasers as needed.
