    What’s Included
    • Eddystone M1917 Enfield .30-06 bolt-action rifle

Manufactured by Eddystone in 1917, this U.S. Model of 1917 retains its correct military configuration with a 26 inch barrel, forged steel receiver, and full-length hardwood stock with grasping grooves. It was built during the WWI era and retains the military handguard and service-style fittings.

The rifle is fitted with a Remington "R" barrel dated 8-18. This mixed-manufacturer configuration (Eddystone receiver with a Remington barrel) reflects typical U.S. arsenal overhaul practices for M1917 rifles. Component markings include an upper barrel band stamped "11" and a rear sight elevation slide stamped "E."

Its controlled-round-feed action cocks on closing and uses a long, non-rotating claw extractor. Feeding is from a fixed internal box magazine with a 6-round capacity, designed to be charger-loaded.

Sighting equipment consists of a protected blade front within protective ears and a receiver-mounted aperture rear sight with a flip-up ladder, also with protective ears. The front band incorporates a bayonet boss and a stacking swivel.

U.S. ordnance markings include the flaming bomb on the barrel and a boxed "P" firing proof on the stock, along with an "S.S.A.A." stock cartouche. The barrel is stamped "R," underscoring the Remington manufacture of the tube.
