The Limited 2 configuration is confirmed by the factory case label and part number K9093N22, and adds non-standard top-front grasping grooves to the slide alongside front and rear serrations. The matte stainless slide and frame pair with two-piece textured black rubber grip panels with Kahr medallions for a secure, comfortable hold.
Sight picture is provided by dovetailed TruGlo TG-H3 3-dot tritium night sights, front and rear. These steel sights are durable and easy to index, with tritium inserts that remain visible in low light.
The 3.5 in match-grade barrel uses polygonal rifling and a recessed crown. Twist rate is 1:10 RH. This setup is designed for consistent alignment and protection of the muzzle.
Controls are left-side with a slide stop and magazine release. The pistol is striker-fired, double-action-only with a passive striker block and no external manual safety. The slim, single-stack design keeps the slide width to 0.90 in, with factory specs listing 6.0 in overall length, 4.5 in height, and approximately 23.1 oz unloaded weight.
Capacity is 7+1 with standard magazines and 8+1 with the extended magazine. This example includes both flush-fit and extended options to suit carry or range use. The K9 platform was historically approved by the NYPD for off-duty and backup use in the late 1990s.
