Chambered in 5.7x28mm, this SUB2000 Gen 3 uses the FN Five-seveN magazine pattern and is designated by Kel-Tec as model S2K5.7.
The rotating forend allows the rifle to fold even with a top-mounted accessory installed. A full-length top Picatinny rail on the forend provides mounting space for accessories, and the platform includes a scope mount provision.
