This Soviet-era Tula TOZ-63 is a 16-gauge sidelock side-by-side with external hammers and factory engraving. It features 28.5-inch barrels with fixed modified (right) and full (left) chokes, 2.75-inch chambers, and a triple-locking system combining Purdey-style double underlugs with a Greener crossbolt. Marked "Made in USSR" with Tula proofs and choke designations, it reflects classic TOZ craftsmanship from the 1960s–1970s.

The TOZ-63 pairs a traditional sidelock, external-hammer layout with a robust triple-locking action. The Purdey-style double underlugs and Greener crossbolt provide secure lockup, while the top-lever opener and extractor-only setup keep operation straightforward. Capacity is two rounds.
Its 28.5-inch barrels are set with fixed chokes—modified in the right tube and full in the left—along a solid matted rib for a clean sighting plane. Chambers are 2.75 inches (16/70), and the front sight is a brass bead.
The shotgun is configured with double triggers and a straight-hand hardwood stock. The grip and splinter forend are hand-checkered for purchase. Additional stock features include sling swivels and a steel buttplate, complementing the steel receiver.
Factory engraving includes hunting dog motifs on the sidelocks with light scroll on the fences and action, plus scroll borders at the breech. Markings include "Made in USSR," 16/70 chamber designation, П/ЧОК (modified) and ЧОК (full) choke marks, 700АТМ, and the TOZ/Tula factory proof symbol (rhombus). This configuration and proofing align with TOZ production of the 1960s–1970s.
