The VP9SK is a compact 9mm from HK's VP Series, made in Germany and imported by HKI (Columbus, GA). It carries German proof marks on the barrel hood, a "DE" marking with the serial number on the right side of the slide, and a "Made in Germany" legend on the left side of the frame above the trigger. The steel slide wears HK's hostile-environment black nitride finish and is cut with both front and rear serrations for confident manipulation.
Its 3.39 in cold hammer-forged steel barrel uses polygonal rifling. The pistol runs a striker-fired, recoil-operated, locked-breech system with a trigger safety (safety tab), firing pin block, disassembly safety, loaded-chamber indicator, and a cocked-striker indicator. Ambidextrous slide releases and an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release support either-hand use.
Factory 3-dot luminescent iron sights, with a green front dot and a dovetailed two-dot rear, provide quick sight acquisition. The sight radius measures 5.73 in. The black polymer frame integrates an accessory Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 rail and uses interchangeable backstraps and side panels for fit tuning.
This VP9SK accepts larger magazines from the VP9/P30 family for extended capacity. Included are one 12-round and one 15-round steel magazine, plus a VP9SK sleeve/spacer for extended use. The included magazines are shown with mixed floorplates: one finger-rest/extended and one flush base.
