The P94 configuration pairs a stainless slide with a matte light gray aluminum-alloy frame and a 4.25 in barrel. It is a full-size member of Ruger’s P-Series and features an external hammer with spur, a left-side slide stop, and a left-side push-button magazine release. The one-piece checkered synthetic grip with Ruger medallion provides a secure, consistent hold.
Its operating system is DA/SA with a short-recoil, tilting barrel, complemented by an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker. Sights are fixed 3-dot, with a front blade carrying a white insert and a low-profile rear with two white dots for quick sight alignment.
The dustcover is smooth with no accessory rail, matching the period-correct P-Series profile. Capacity is 10+1 in .40 S&W, and this example includes three 10-round steel magazines, each with bodies stamped "40 CAL."
Made in the USA and produced in 2002, this is the Ruger P94 in .40 S&W, not the P944. The bore is excellent with sharp rifling, and overall wear is limited to light, superficial handling marks.
