The Px4 Storm's short-recoil, rotating-barrel lockup is a defining design element of this full-size model. The 4 in steel barrel uses a right-hand 1:15.75 in twist, and the pistol is configured for a 10+1 capacity with the included double-stack magazines.
The slide wears a Bruniton finish and includes ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker levers and a red fire indicator. Fixed 3-dot sights are installed, with a white-dot front and two-dot rear. The frame is fiberglass-reinforced polymer with a textured grip bearing the Beretta trident medallion.
An accessory rail on the dustcover supports compatible lights or accessories. Controls and internal safeties include the slide-mounted safety/decocker, a firing pin block, and an out-of-battery safety. The external hammer and DA/SA trigger system provide traditional double-action first-shot capability with single-action follow-ups.
This pistol was made in Italy and carries Italian proof marks, along with "Beretta USA Corp. ACKK, MD" and "CAT. 14897" markings. The frame is marked "Fires without magazine," indicating no magazine disconnect. Slide and frame markings also include the Px4 Storm logo and "GARDONE V.T.
