The R1 Limited configuration is confirmed by the "LIMITED" slide roll mark and the catalog/mfg part number 96717. The box label shows "R1 Target," but the material/order number on the box matches the pistol and corresponds to the R1 Limited variant.
The slide and frame are stainless steel with a PVD (DLC) coating for a dark, uniform finish. Wide, angled front and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation, and the frame is marked Huntsville, Alabama, USA. The checkered front strap and mainspring housing, along with an integrated flared magwell funnel, support confident control and fast reloads.
The 5 inch match-grade barrel is PVD-coated stainless and marked "MATCH" on the hood. The single-action, hammer-fired system uses a skeletonized hammer and a skeletonized, three-hole adjustable match trigger with an over-travel screw.
Target-focused sights include a red fiber-optic front in a dovetail and a fully adjustable rear. A beavertail grip safety with memory bump and a left-side thumb safety provide familiar 1911 controls. Black/gray textured G10 grips complete the package.
This single-stack .40 S&W 1911 carries 8+1 capacity and comes with three steel 8-round magazines. Roll marks, sight configuration, and included magazines align with the Limited specification.
