- One 10-round steel magazine with finger-extension baseplate
The CPX-4 uses a double-action-only, internal-hammer trigger system with an approximate 9 lb pull and an ambidextrous manual thumb safety. A factory warning indicates the pistol does not have a magazine disconnect and will fire without a magazine installed.
SCCY's Roebuck Quad-Lock system is designed to enhance barrel-to-slide lockup consistency. The slide includes rear serrations and an external extractor, and is finished in matte black over stainless steel for durability.
The sighting setup is a 3-dot system with a dovetailed rear sight and a white-dot front blade.
Construction pairs a polymer grip frame with molded texture and finger grooves over a 7075-T6 aluminum internal receiver/chassis. The micro-size profile measures approximately 5.7 inches in overall length, 5.26 inches in height, and 1.1 inches in width, with an unloaded weight around 15 oz. Capacity is 10+1 in .380 ACP, and the barrel length is 2.96 inches with a 1:16 RH twist.
