The SR1911 Target configuration pairs a fully adjustable square-notch rear sight with a dovetailed front post for precise point-of-impact control. The front sight carries a single white dot and the rear features two white dots to speed alignment while preserving a crisp sight picture.
Its Series-70 pattern lockwork omits a firing-pin block and uses a titanium firing pin, combined with an integral plunger tube. The single-action, locked-breech system runs a standard barrel bushing on the 5 inch stainless barrel for classic 1911 serviceability.
The pistol wears a low-glare satin stainless slide over a matte dark/black-finished frame, with rear slide serrations only. Controls include a left-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory pad. A skeletonized aluminum trigger with three holes and an over-travel screw, plus a skeletonized spur hammer, complete the target-focused setup.
Ergonomics include black/gray textured G10 grip panels, a flat mainspring housing with vertical serrations, and a smooth front strap. The standard Browning bevel at the magazine well aids reloads. Capacity is 8+1 with .45 ACP, and the package includes mixed base pad types on the included magazines (extended and flush). The slide bears the Ruger phoenix logo.
