The Gen3 G17 delivers the familiar full-size 9mm format with a 4.49 in steel barrel using polygonal rifling. The barrel is cold-hammer-forged with a nitrocarburized finish, and the pistol uses a short-recoil, tilting-barrel Browning-type operating system. It retains the standard Gen3 integral single-slot accessory rail and rear-only vertical slide serrations.
This example is U.S.-manufactured in Smyrna, Georgia, and configured with fixed night sights. The sight picture pairs an AmeriGlo tritium front sight with a two-dot rear night sight for low-light visibility.
The frame is polymer with a standard magazine release and Glock's three internal safeties: trigger safety, firing pin safety, and drop safety. As a Gen3, it does not use interchangeable backstraps, preserving the original grip profile.
Customization includes aftermarket grip stippling on the side panels and backstrap, plus trigger-guard undercuts. These modifications provide additional texture and clearance while maintaining a clean, professional look. Proof and inspection stamps are present.
