The 1911 Duty Enhanced B45 is a full-size, single-action 1911 platform with a Government-length 5-inch barrel and an 8+1 capacity. It features a single-side (left) thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety, along with a conventional bushing and plug recoil system that follows classic 1911 practice.
The two-tone construction pairs a stainless steel frame with a black QPQ-finished slide. Front and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation, while a skeletonized commander-style hammer and textured synthetic (G10-style) grips provide a purposeful control setup. Factory front-strap checkering and a flat, checkered mainspring housing work with the internally beveled magazine well to support fast, consistent reloads.
Sighting is straightforward and high-visibility: a dovetailed green fiber-optic front sight teams with a black, serrated rear, both in dovetail cuts for durability and serviceability.
