The Mod. P.018S uses a short-recoil, Browning linkless tilting-barrel system in a robust, all-steel, machined construction. Its double-action/single-action operation is paired with a frame-mounted manual safety/decocker and a firing pin block.
Sight elements are practical and clean: a dovetailed fixed front blade with a single white dot and a dovetailed rear notch that is drift-adjustable for windage. The slide has rear vertical serrations and an anti-glare rib for consistent handling and sight alignment.
The full-size layout includes a 4.8 in barrel and an overall length of approximately 8.4 in, feeding from a double-stack 15+1 configuration. Black checkered polymer grip panels with Bernardelli medallions provide a firm hold.
Factory markings include the model designation on the frame and the left slide legend "V. BERNARDELLI • GARDONE V.T. • MADE IN ITALY." Proof/marking reads "MADE IN ITALY." The pistol also features full-length internal frame rails that support smooth slide travel.
