Built on a stamped AKM-pattern receiver with a ribbed top cover, this Sporter follows the classic long-stroke gas system and uses a standard right-side selector/safety. The matte black finish and stamped steel construction provide a straightforward, serviceable setup.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a slant-style compensator. A 90-degree gas block and vented gas tube support reliable operation with the 7.62x39 cartridge. Capacity is 30+1 with the included magazine.
Furniture is black polymer throughout, including a Phoenix Technology fixed stock with an integral sling loop and a black polymer pistol grip with finger grooves. The handguards are polymer as well, with a ribbed lower and smooth upper for a secure, consistent hold. Length of pull measures 12.5 inches.
Sighting is via iron sights: an adjustable AK tangent rear sight leaf paired with a front post. Markings include an oval Radom archer logo with '11' on the rear sight block, receiver text reading "SPORTER 7.62 x 39 PIONEER ARMS CORP.
