This example follows the standard P.08 Army pattern with a 4 inch (100 mm) barrel, short-recoil, toggle-locked, single-action operation, and an 8+1 capacity. It is a full-size sidearm with an overall length of approximately 8.74 inches. Fixed sights consist of a blade front and a U-notch on the rear toggle link.
Markings are consistent with 1916 DWM production. The chamber is dated 1916, the toggle bears the DWM scroll monogram, and the right side of the barrel extension shows three Imperial crown-over-letter Army acceptance stamps. A crown proof is present at the barrel shoulder, and the safety legend "GESICHERT" appears on the milled panel.
Numbering details include a serial suffix letter "f" and small parts observed with the last two digits "02." The barrel is non-matching, and parts are not matched. The underside of the barrel is gauge marked "8,82."
Construction features include a blued steel frame and receiver with checkered wood grips and a manual safety. The pistol is chambered in 9mm Luger and was manufactured in Germany during the WWI era.
