This P3AT uses a double-action-only, internal-hammer, short-recoil locked-breech system. Controls are simple, with a left-side push-button magazine release. The slide has rear serrations, an open-top ejection port, and no slide stop lever, and it does not lock open on the last round.
The pistol retains a micro footprint and very low weight for discreet carry: unloaded weight is approximately 7.7 oz, with an overall length of 5.2 in, height of 3.5 in, and width of 0.77 in. Capacity is 6+1 rounds, and two single-stack magazines are included.
