The rifle is configured as a takedown with an interrupted-joint collar, allowing the assembly to separate at the receiver and barrel junction. The collar, receiver, lever, fore-end cap, and buttplate all wear a color case-hardened finish that complements the blued 20" octagon barrel.
It features the Browning twin vertical locking-block action in a traditional lever-action layout, with an exposed hammer and tang safety. Operation remains straightforward while preserving hallmark 1886 characteristics.
Sighting is via open irons: a dovetailed bead front sight paired with a semi-buckhorn rear sight that uses a step elevator. The tubular magazine is listed at 7-round capacity, and the barrel is explicitly marked "Caliber 45-70 Govt ONLY."
Stocks are pistol-grip, checkered walnut with a matching walnut fore-end. Length of pull is listed at 13.0. Fit and finish details include the color case-hardened takedown collar and hardware that visually tie the rifle together.
Manufacture and proof information are clearly indicated: "Made by Miroku-Japan" on the barrel, Miroku proof/inspection mark on the barrel breech flat, and "Imported by BACO, Inc., Morgan, Utah." These markings, along with the "Model 1886 DELUXE LIMITED SERIES" roll-mark, document the limited series run and production origin.
