This first-generation Smith & Wesson M&P45 is a full-size, striker-fired .45 ACP with a 4.5 inch stainless steel barrel and Melonite-treated stainless slide. It features steel low-profile 3-dot sights, no manual thumb safety, and an ambidextrous slide stop. It comes with three 10-round magazines, interchangeable backstraps, and the S&W factory hard case.

The M&P45 full-size pairs a 4.5 inch through-hardened stainless barrel with a Melonite-treated stainless slide for durability and corrosion resistance. Front and rear wave-style serrations aid slide manipulation, and the steel, low-profile 3-dot white sights offer a clean, snag-resistant sight picture.
The black Zytel polymer frame uses an embedded stainless-steel chassis for rigidity and consistent operation. Interchangeable S/M/L palm-swell backstraps tailor the grip to the shooter, and the textured surfaces provide secure purchase.
Controls and safeties are well-sorted: striker-fired action with an integrated trigger safety, internal striker/firing-pin safety, sear deactivation lever, and a loaded-chamber viewing port. This configuration has no manual thumb safety. The slide stop is ambidextrous, and the magazine release is reversible.
An integral 3-slot Picatinny-style rail supports common weapon lights or accessories. Capacity is 10+1 with three 10-round magazines included. Made in the USA, this is a first-generation M&P45 built for duty-size handling in .45 ACP.
