The P322 uses a blowback, single-action system with an enclosed hammer and a flat-faced trigger, giving it a familiar, consistent trigger feel. The triangular left-side magazine release and bilateral frame-mounted safety levers provide intuitive control access.
The 4.5 in stainless steel barrel is threaded and ships with a factory knurled protector installed. The stainless barrel is visible through the ejection port, and the pistol is marked NEWINGTON, NH USA.
Green fiber-optic iron sights include a fully adjustable rear and a high-visibility front, aiding quick sight acquisition. The slide features front and rear serrations for confident manipulation.
