This 1980s-era Ruger 10/22 Carbine pairs the classic barrel-band configuration with an 18.5-inch alloy-steel barrel and a walnut-stained hardwood stock. It features a black aluminum-alloy receiver that is factory drilled and tapped for a scope base with four plug screws. The bore is clean and bright with excellent rifling, and it includes a Ruger factory 10-round rotary magazine.

The carbine configuration includes an 18.5-inch unthreaded barrel with a recessed crown and a blued finish. The investment-cast aluminum-alloy receiver wears a black finish and maintains the right-side ejection port with the right-rear charging handle. Overall length is approximately 37 inches with a 13.5-inch length of pull.
Sighting is via iron sights: a ramped front blade and a folding rear leaf adjustable for elevation. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base and fitted with four plug screws from the factory.
The walnut-stained hardwood stock has a straight comb and is uncheckered, secured by a traditional barrel band and finished with a curved bright-metal buttplate. This layout aligns with the barrel-band carbine style associated with 10/22 rifles of this era.
Markings include the receiver rollmark "RUGER MODEL 10/22 CARBINE .22 LR CALIBER" with the Ruger phoenix logo, along with the factory warning legend on the barrel. Chambering is .22 LR with a 1:16 right-hand twist and a 10+1 maximum capacity using the included Ruger rotary magazine.
