The Hellion’s bullpup configuration places the magazine well behind the pistol grip, delivering a compact package without sacrificing barrel length. Overall length adjusts from 28.25 to 29.75 inches, with a length of pull of 16.25 inches and an approximate weight of 8.0 lb.
Its 16 inch CMV steel barrel is cold hammer forged, Melonite treated, and threaded, with a 1:7 RH twist for stable performance with 5.56 NATO. The combination of materials and treatments emphasizes durability and consistent accuracy.
A short-stroke gas piston drives the action, and a two-position regulator (Normal/Suppressed) lets the user tune the rifle to their setup. The forward, non-reciprocating charging handle sits beneath the top rail for easy access.
Ambidextrous controls include the safety selector and magazine release, and the ejection system can be configured for right- or left-side ejection. Integrated flip-up iron sights are built into the carry handle: the front is elevation adjustable, and the rear offers five apertures with windage adjustment.
