This Dan Wesson Specialist in 9mm Luger is a full-size, Government-length 1911 built on a black steel frame and slide with an integral 1913 accessory rail. It features a bushing-fitted, match-marked 5-inch barrel, fixed AmeriGlo/Battlehook sights, and checkering where it matters. Made in the United States, this example is in very good overall condition with an excellent bore.

The Specialist configuration delivers a Government-length 5-inch, bushing-fitted, match-marked barrel with a full-length guide rod for a traditional 1911 feel in a 9mm package. The steel frame and slide wear a uniform black finish, with the slide cut in a flat-top profile and longitudinal anti-glare serrations.
Controls and ergonomics are purpose-driven: a manual thumb safety and grip safety, checkered front strap and mainspring housing for traction, and a flared magazine well funnel to speed reloads. The pistol is fitted with checkered hardwood double-diamond grips and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer.
The slide is set up with front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port. Sighting is handled by a dovetailed AmeriGlo H3AP front and a serrated Battlehook ledge-style rear retained by two set screws. Sights are fixed.
An integral 1913 accessory rail on the dustcover supports light or laser attachment. Capacity is 10+1. The frame is rollmarked "DAN WESSON FIREARMS NORWICH, NY U.S.A." and no optics cut is observed on the slide.
