It features a 5-inch bushing-fit steel barrel, a non-railed all-steel frame with a one-piece magwell/mainspring housing, and Series-70-style operation. Practical upgrades include a green fiber-optic front sight paired with a Wilson Combat low-mount rear, ambidextrous controls, and textured G10-type grips. Frame is marked "FUSION FIREARMS • VENICE, FL USA" with model marked "REACTION".

This Reaction is built on an all-steel, non-railed Government-size 1911 platform from Fusion’s Freedom Series. The bar-stock, CNC-machined construction and Series-70-style fire control deliver a traditional single-action 1911 without a firing pin safety. The frame integrates a one-piece magwell/mainspring housing for streamlined reloads.
The 5-inch bushing-fit steel barrel is chambered in 9mm Luger, feeding from a 10-round magazine for a 10+1 capacity. The slide is machined with front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port.
Controls are set up for confident handling, with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory bump. A lightened, vented trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer round out the fire-control features.
Sight alignment is fast and clear thanks to a green fiber-optic front sight and a Wilson Combat dovetailed low-mount rear. Black/gray textured G10-type grip panels provide a secure hold, and the pistol carries factory markings including "FUSION FIREARMS • VENICE, FL USA" on the frame and "REACTION" as the model.
