This Mil-Spec model is built on forged stainless steel for both the slide and frame, finished with brushed flats and matte rounds. The 5 in stainless steel barrel is matched to a GI-style recoil system with guide rod and plug, preserving the traditional 1911 setup. The barrel hood is marked 'S.A. .45AUTO.'
Controls and ergonomics follow the Mil-Spec pattern, including a short solid trigger, spur hammer, grip safety, single-side thumb safety, and an arched mainspring housing. The slide features rear-only vertical cocking serrations and a lowered and flared ejection port for reliable extraction.
Sights are fixed combat 3-dot steel: a front blade with white dot and a dovetailed rear with two white dots. The slide wears the crossed-cannons Springfield Armory crest, and the pistol is equipped with checkered wood double-diamond grip panels with Springfield Armory medallions.
