The V1 “Light” LEM pre-cocked DAO trigger delivers an approximately 5.4 lb pull while retaining a hammer-fired, recoil-operated system with a bobbed hammer. Safety features include an automatic hammer safety, a firing pin block, and an extractor that serves as a visual and tactile loaded-chamber indicator with a red mark.
Ergonomics and control are central to the P30 design. This pistol provides fully ambidextrous controls, including slide releases on both sides and HK’s paddle-style ambidextrous magazine release. The modular grip uses interchangeable backstrap and side panels to tailor fit and texture.
The 3.85-inch cold hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling, and the steel slide wears HK’s Hostile Environment (nitrocarburized) finish. Front and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation. A MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dust cover supports compatible lights or accessories.
Sights are fixed three-dot (non-tritium), with a post front featuring an orange dot and a fixed square-notch rear with two dots. Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger, and two 15-round steel magazines are included.
Manufactured in Germany, this P30 shows CIP “N” and Ulm stag-antler proof marks, along with the DE country code and HK date code. It was imported by HKI, Columbus GA, and bears the corresponding importer mark.
