The Gen3 frame features integral finger grooves with molded checkering and an accessory rail for lights or similar rail-mounted gear. Controls are configured on the left side, including the slide stop and magazine release, in the familiar Glock layout.
The slide wears a matte black finish with rear-only serrations. Factory markings include "GLOCK 17 AUSTRIA 9x19" and "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." The striker-fired Safe Action system with a trigger safety provides Glock's standard operating setup.
Sights are fixed polymer with a front white dot and a rear white U-notch marked 6.1. The sight radius measures 6.50 in, offering a clear and consistent sight picture in a duty-length format.
This pistol is configured for 10-round magazines, providing a 10+1 capacity. It comes with two Glock factory 10-round magazines, each with floorplates marked GLOCK and AUSTRIA. An OEM Glock box is provided; it is not serial matched to this pistol, and a Glock owner's manual is included.
