The Performance Center C.O.R.E. system provides a factory optics-ready setup with a removable top plate on the long slide, while retaining dovetailed iron sights for immediate use. The slide adds lightening cuts and scalloped rear serrations. The slide is stainless steel with a black protective finish, while the barrel is natural stainless (silver).
The 5-inch ported barrel and matching slide ports are paired with the full-size frame for a balanced, competition-capable configuration. The front sight is a blade with a white insert, and the rear is a square-notch unit, both set in dovetails.
The black polymer frame offers textured grip surfaces and interchangeable palm-swell backstraps for fitting the hand. Controls include an ambidextrous slide stop and a left-side magazine release. An integral three-slot Picatinny rail on the dust cover supports compatible lights or lasers.
This striker-fired, semi-automatic design incorporates an internal striker block and has no external manual thumb safety. It also has no magazine disconnect and is capable of firing with the magazine removed. Capacity is up to 17+1 with the included 17-round magazine, and the supplied magazines have witness holes to 15 and 17.
