The Endeavor 209x50 Magnum barrel brings several accuracy-minded features: a 28" fluted profile to reduce weight and enhance barrel rigidity, a counterbored crown, and the Quick Load Accurizor counterbored muzzle to ease bullet and sabot alignment. The Speed Breech XT quarter-turn plug streamlines cleanup and maintenance while retaining a secure 209 primer seal.
Built on the Encore Pro Hunter frame, this break-open, single-shot design uses 209 primer ignition and accepts interchangeable barrels within the Encore/Pro Hunter family. This flexibility lets the owner configure the platform for different seasons or roles by simply swapping barrels.
Controls and furniture are geared to practical handling. The exposed hammer includes a swing-style spur for positive access, even around optics. The FlexTech composite stock with overmolded gray inserts offers a sure hold, while the LimbSaver recoil pad helps manage the impulse of magnum muzzleloader loads. Sling swivel studs are installed. Length of pull measures 14.5".
The rifle wears a matte silver finish on the receiver and barrel, with the frame marked "MFG BY S&W – Springfield, MA." Fiber-optic iron sights are fitted from the factory (red front, green adjustable rear), and the receiver/barrel are drilled and tapped for optics. A scope rail is already installed, and a full-length aluminum ramrod rides beneath the barrel in dual thimbles.
