This carbine configuration uses a 20-inch round barrel marked "Winchester Proof Steel," secured by two barrel bands, and a full-length tubular magazine rated at 6+1. Winchester oval "WP" proofs are present on both the barrel and receiver.
The rifle wears a blued finish over steel and is stocked in walnut with a straight grip. It is fitted with a checkered steel shotgun-style buttplate and a walnut carbine forend. Length of pull is 13.0 inches. This example has no saddle ring and no sling swivels.
