What’s Included
- Wooden case
The Grade 4E designation identifies this as an automatic-ejector single-barrel trap gun, built on Ithaca’s Flues platform. It is chambered in 12 gauge with a 30 inch steel barrel and a capacity of 1 round. The action is a break-action, single-shot with a single trigger, configured specifically for trap use.
Sighting is quick and consistent thanks to the ventilated, raised and matted rib fitted with both a bead front and a mid-bead. A rib extension dolls-head locking lug provides a classic, secure lockup appropriate to high-grade single-barrel trap guns of the era.
The receiver and top lever are hand engraved at the factory. The left panel depicts a trapshooter scene with 'Ithaca Gun Co.' script, surrounded by scroll, rosettes, and starbursts. The water table shows engine-turning, with the water table stamped '12' for gauge and '4' for grade; the barrel lug is marked 'V.H.W. 1 55'. Matching serial numbers are present on the receiver, barrel lug, and forend iron.
The wood stock has a pistol-grip profile with checkering and an inletted name plate. A Jostam Anti-Flinch recoil pad with stacked spacers is installed, setting the length of pull at 14.25 inches.
