It pairs the classic .45-70 chambering with a handy 16.25" barrel and a half-length tubular magazine for a 4+1 capacity. The barrel carries the Micro-Groove marking consistent with its rifling style.
The receiver is the solid-top, side-eject pattern and is drilled and tapped for scope bases. Construction is steel, and controls include standard safety provisions. Length of pull is 13.5".
